Who knows where our shared journey will take you? **Transform the everyday with us!** Siemens Digital Industries is looking for an experienced Strategic Account Manager to identify and develop customer opportunities into successful solutions. This Vertical team is a growing and dynamic team that delivers solutions, products, and services to the account you will serve. The successful candidate will be able to pair industry knowledge with an advanced automation and digitalization-centric portfolio of solutions to drive sales, establish customer preference, and expand adoption of the Siemens portfolio. In addition, the Strategic Account Manager will be tasked with identifying and expanding new opportunities with the client. Further, the role will be responsible for working in a matrix organization, coordination with other groups including portfolio specialists, engineering, and the global vertical market team to support the ecosystem in the most effective manner. Success will be measured on portfolio adoption growth and customer pipeline development. The position reports to Vertical Sales Management in the United States. **We are looking for a Strategic Account Executive for General Motors. This position is remote but candidate must reside in greater Detroit area.** **You’ll make an impact by:** + Developing the customer base for broad adoption of the entire Siemens Digital Enterprise portfolio + Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to define, present, and deliver solutions developed jointly with the client + Analyze the customer’s market, business targets & strategy, issues, needs, processes, value chain and key business drivers and effectively transfers this knowledge to the Siemens organizations and regions. + Represent the customer to the Siemens organizations and ensure a unified approach across segments and regions for the customer. **You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** + 10+ years Key Account Management/Senior Sales and related management experience with a track record of successful performance + 5+ years experience selling automation, robotics, and / or IT/OT software solutions in manufacturing + High school diploma or equivilant GED + Travel: 25% + Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship **Preferred Qualifications:** + Prior experience with solution development and sales. + Executive-level communication & presentation skills + Bachelors degree + Extensive experience in team building, coordination, collaboration, and detailed strategy planning and execution + Broad experience in documenting projects / opportunities, contacts, project scope, and key decision makers within CRM tools.
