Position: General MKTG III
Location: New York, New York
Multiple Positions Available:
1. Develop, manage, and communicate project roadmaps, strategy,
and reporting for Amazon's global owned channels and content,
including AboutAmazon.com website, email newsletter programs,
and SEO;
2. Engineer, develop, maintain, refine, and communicate ongoing and
ad-hoc metrics, reports, dashboards, and analyses, to demonstrate
the impact and effectiveness of the work driven by the Amazon
News team;
3. Define the data and KPIs that will most effectively and accurately
measure the impact of content and channels
4. Work cross-functionally with other analytics, reporting, and research
teams to develop and share best practices and learnings, define and
refine benchmarks, and develop best-in-class insights; and
5. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to implement solutions
that can scale globally, based on data insights from multiple sources
and across myriad channels.
6. Domestic and occasional international travel up to 10% to perform
role responsibilities may be required
Basic Qualifications
Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Experience must include the following:
1. 3 years of experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
2. 3 years of experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
3. 3 years of experience using web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
4. 3 years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and nontech teams
5. 3 years of experience in project/technical program management with a proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
6. 3 years of experience developing requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting, familiarity with data visualization tools, e.g. Tableau and Qualtrics
7. 3 years of experience driving cross-functional projects, building partnerships with other organizations, and working proactively with business teams to ensure security, operational, and business objectives are met
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $130,000 - $185,000 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
