We are looking for You to join our team as a **2nd Shift General Manufacturing Manager 2** based out of **Baltimore, MD** .
The 2nd Shift General Manufacturing Manager 2 is responsible for the direct supervision of approximately 15-20 represented (union) employees and processes in a Manufacturing environment.
**2nd Shift Hours - 2:00pm - 11:30pm**
**What You’ll Get to Do:**
+ Assign and manage represented EMS Operators and/or Sensors & Systems Technicians to maximize efficiency and achieve target productive yields
+ Managing Finished Processors – Spray, Coating, and Bonding
+ Manage the use of consumables to achieve budget targets
+ Work independently across organizations to deliver products on schedule
+ Perform required SAP/MES transactions to manage Operator and/or M&P Specialist
+ Implement our process improvements to improve affordability, quality, and schedule
+ Providing directions to employees utilizing management guidelines and general policies
+ Discussing test details and results with test technicians and engineering
+ Driving employee efficiency
+ Meeting product cost and schedule targets
+ Managing the area to produce quality products
+ Engaging employees to achieve their highest potential
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership skills and ability, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of professional experience in a Manufacturing, Production or Engineering environment; Master’s Degree with 6 years of experience in a Manufacturing, Production or Engineering environment; 12 years of work experience in a Manufacturing, Production or Engineering environment may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
+ Experience managing/leading multiple teams with multiple priorities/deadlines
+ Experience working with chemicals and adhering to safety compliance standards
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance is required
+ U.S. citizenship required
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience in Project and/or Personnel management experience
+ Experience working in a represented (union) environment
+ Experience with SAP/MES
+ Experience with Lean Manufacturing
+ Experience with Environmental Safety procedures/policies

Primary Level Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $168,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
