Job Summary:
The Client is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager – Projects to lead and manage multiple industrial infrastructure construction sites. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and proven ability to coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external authorities. The role demands a hands-on leader who ensures transparency, accountability, and timely delivery of projects within budget and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the single point of contact between site project teams and senior management, providing regular and transparent project updates.
• Plan, monitor, and control project timelines, budgets, and deliverables using effective Project Management tools and techniques.
• Lead project execution from start to finish, ensuring time, cost, and quality objectives are consistently met across all sites.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including architects, structural, MEP, PEB, EPC, and contractors for smooth execution.
• Liaise with local authorities and government bodies for permissions, approvals, and compliance with statutory regulations.
• Possess deep knowledge of industrial construction laws, legal compliances, and liaising practices.
• Regularly travel to project sites across Pune and surrounding regions to oversee progress, resolve on-ground challenges, and ensure alignment with plans.
• Foster a collaborative, team-oriented culture across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• In-depth understanding of industrial infrastructure construction, PEB structures, MEP systems, and EPC contract management.
• Proven experience in project planning, scheduling (Primavera/MS Project), budgeting, and risk management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple project sites simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of local laws, construction regulations, and government liaison processes
