General Managers are responsible for managing the Hotel Management team and overall hotel targets to deliver an exceptional Guest and Team Member experiences while managing profitability and guest satisfaction measures.

What will I be doing?

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Manage ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue,  guest satisfaction and Team Member engagement goals are met and exceededLead in all key property issues including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishmentEnsure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotels and HiltonDeliver achievable hotel budgets, and set other short- and long- term strategic goals for the propertyProvide exceptional leadership to hotel Team Members focussing on Hilton culture and valuesLead in all aspects of business planningComply with and exceed Hilton Brand Service StandardsEnsure costs are controlled and revenue opportunities are effectively sourced and deliveredManage and develop the Hotel Executive team to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within HiltonHold regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD teamRespond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills with a strong focus on Owner relations, Commercial and Operations, guest experience and Team Member engagement. Enthusiastic and passionate, you will have previous experience as a General Manager within a similar quality hotel and ideally with hotel openings experience.
