MP&L Plant Operations
Key Lead & Link between skill team & plant MP&L teams driving end to end standardization, waste elimination & Lean Practices, MP&L launch readiness reviews (combined plant & skill metric). Drive inventory reduction efforts across IMG Plants through collaboration & innovation and various cost efficiency work streams. Co-lead with IMG MP&L plant leads to improve warehouse automation to reduce MP&L L&OH costs. Conduct POGR , DOS/LMM Governance Reviews with plant & skill teams.
MP&L Inventory Management – Material (Production & IM,PIA/BIA) , SNURK & Vehicle
Lead IMG / CoE Production inventory management and forecasting, Drive Dynamic Inventory Process and optimization to support Cash Flow and increase inventory turns. Lead FNA CoE VSM and TVM for production inventory. Drive FNA CoE for IM through system parts control and exception follow up and drive TVM actions. Drive Vehicle Inventory Optimization and tracking transit times for efficiency actions working with vehicle logistics , MP&L Finance & Sales teams Lead IMG MP&L On Weekly / Monthly SNURK reviews , drive PIA / BIA process and metric reviews and BIA studies as part of E2E Inventory Domain
Supplier Manufacturing Readiness (MP&L Related) – SMRT
Lead IMG SMRT on Pre PA , Post PA related supplier delivery readiness and conformance to all launch readiness / MMOG specifications. Ensure supplier delivery performance are tracked , reported and drive to improve overall delivery performance scores. Drive to meet the MMOG/Q1 Targets aligned with STA/Purchasing teams Work with T1/T2 supplier base and proactively work through communication process on Risk Sensing and collaborate with SCM team to support deliveries. Drive On site issue resolution and engage with suppliers during any crisis to support delivery plan and timely supplies to ensure zero production losses
Education Qualification Requirements:
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in engineering With 15+ years of experience in areas of Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Material Flow Engineering / Packaging Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience Required:
• Min 15+ years’ experience both in plant operations and skill team domain covering SCM / Logistics / MFE / Launch / Various Delivery Operating Systems of an Auto OEM or manufacturing enterprise
• Experience in material delivery systems & Automation (including Kitting , Automation , AGV’s, ASRS, PMHV’s, Packaging , Cycle Line Layouts etc)
• Experience in working with IT Teams for ensuring material flow integration with plant floor systems
• Experience in implementation of Industry 4.0 projects (E.g., IoT, IIoT, BLE)
• Leadership experience handling a team of his/her own with proven track record of hands-on implementation done in prior roles and leading big projects.
• Experience handing production & non-production suppliers & development
• Experience with Warehousing planning and operations
• In depth knowledge of global supply chain management & logistics , MFE operations. Knowledge of auto industry delivery requirements and logistics practices is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of CMMS3/MRP, especially knowledge on material planning module, production-planning module, warehouse management module.
• The profile requires considerable coordination , individual performing professional , need commercial / financial insights .Profile requires candidate working in flexible timings and involves travelling • Candidates Preferred with all above skills (working in Ford / Non Ford similar domain)

Major Responsibilities
Drive IMG MP&L Business Process Re-Engineering Initiatives , Lead MP&L’s Innovation Governance, E2E Digitization & Automation Initiatives, Global MFE Automation working with all IMG / Global MP&L CFT leads, GDME , IT & PD/Program Teams , Drive MP&L KPI’s Through Bowler Cadence , Global BCC , Lead Plant MP&L Operations To Facilitate E2E Continuous Improvement & Lean Maturity Model Implementation , Lead Inventory for IMG to drive Overall Turns and Optimization supporting Cash Flow Supplier Overall MP&L Delivery Performance and Launch Readiness with Capable System and Delivery Process.
Functional Responsibilities (Details) :
• Lead Weekly Cross Functional MP&L Innovation Team Meetings as per the Current Governance Process. Be a key enabler to support and facilitate all MP&L projects through weekly project monitoring and reporting.
• Lead the MP&L Monthly Innovation Governance Leadership updates and drive follow through actions
• Drive IMG MP&L Bowler Cadence on all Metrices and facilitate problem solving sessions
• Work closely with VOME, Purchasing, PD and Finance from pre stages, to study the new model changes, finalize the material flow strategy and material delivery with increased automation in deliveries to line
• Work with Ford IT to ensure interoperability with Ford’s plant floor systems (SKS/SMART etc.,) and ensuring compatibility with Ford IT’s long-term vision of compatibility to iERP/ SAP.
• Represent MPL in the vehicle process engineering transformation role with manufacturing engineering / GDME to support the virtual builds in MPL led process sheets for effective workstation readiness.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering and IT to include various plant constraints / IT systems interfaces to support Manufacturing 4.0.
• Work with CFT’s to facilitate tech / automation investment costs supporting program planning team
• Drive MP&L Plant Group Operations through systemic plant-skill team cadence driving standards and Lean Maturity Model Implementation • Developing Ford Standards and Standardize MP&L Processes across plants including Supplier’s scope and IMG MP&L Lead For ISO & GAO Audit Tracking & Coordination
• Lead IMG / CoE Inventory Management through Dynamic Inventory Management Process to drive inventory turns to support cash flow
• Coordinate IMG MP&L related SAR deck part of IMG Mfg Council & Global MP&L BCC
• Work with Purchasing & STA to drive Pre-PA & Post-PA launch readiness , improving supplier delivery performance with all capable MP&L systems and achieving MMOG certification as per aligned timelines.

6) Drive IMG MP&L Bowler Metrices to GREEN by facilitating problem solving & driving actions to meet the plan
7) SMRT 100% Green on all Launch Deliverables as per each program milestone and ensure supplier delivery performance >81%
