**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
We are seeking a strategic and innovative leader to oversee DISH and Sling customer retention initiatives while managing a team of analysts. This role combines hands-on strategic execution with team leadership, driving initiatives that minimize churn, maximize customer lifetime value, and optimize loyalty management across our Video Services business.
As a senior leader, you will leverage data-driven insights, financial modeling, and cross-functional collaboration to implement retention strategies that directly influence DISH and Sling’s bottom line. You will also play a key role in shaping the vision for retention, guiding analysts to uncover actionable insights and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts, fostering advanced analytics, problem-solving, and consultant-level skills.
+ Establish a clear vision, align team goals with organizational priorities, and guide project prioritization and workflow management.
+ Own strategy and execution of key retention programs (~$400M P&L), ensuring alignment with financial targets, lifecycle goals, and subscriber growth.
+ Build and implement AI/ML-driven strategies to mitigate churn, improve forecasting, and identify retention opportunities.
+ Translate complex data into actionable insights using SQL, Tableau, and financial models, ensuring reporting accuracy and usability for senior leaders.
+ Partner cross-functionally (Finance, Marketing, Product, Tech, Ops) and manage vendors to design, execute, and optimize retention initiatives end-to-end.
+ Deliver compelling presentations and business narratives to senior executives, driving alignment, decision-making, and operational improvements.
**Skills, Experience and Requirements**
**Education and Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in a field demonstrating strong analytical and logical thinking
+ 5+ years in analytics, strategy, or related roles, with measurable impact on business outcomes
+ 2+ years managing direct reports or leading cross-functional teams in a data-driven environment
+ Master’s degree in business, analytics, or related field preferred
**Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Proven expertise in SQL, Tableau, and Excel for modeling, reporting, and analytics
+ Strong financial modeling skills to support decision-making and P&L management
+ Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities
+ Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and lead through fast-paced, evolving challenges
+ Knowledge of the video services or subscription industry preferred

**Salary Ranges**
Compensation: $110,110.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
