You enjoy working with others, are results driven and are looking for a variety of opportunities to develop personally and professionally. **The Role** Reporting to the Regional General Manager of Operations.Jo’s General Manager is responsible for the management of Jo’s Coffee Shops located in Austin, Tx. The General Manger will ensure that planning, budgeting, financial reporting and menu execution complies as part of the Jo’s brand. The person in this position must have good communication skills, the ability to resolve conflicts and a thorough understanding of Company policies. Furthermore, the Jo’s General Manager has the responsibility of developing and maintaining the location’s culture, values, and reputation in the public eye, and with all staff, guests, vendors and partners. **Qualifications:** Responsibilities will include: + Act as member of the Jo’s leadership team and a key contributor in strategic planning at the company level + Establish short- and long-term sales goals + Cultivate relationships with managers and supervisors to push sales goals and rotate product frequently + Work with marketing team to provide seasonal recipes, coordinate photo shoots, and weekly promotions and track the success of these promotions + Work with other nearby Jo’s Coffee location to oversee and support production of breakfast taco offerings from their kitchen + Ensure third party delivery of tacos & pastries is set for daily arrival + Oversee quality assurance + Work with operations team to create and improve upon seasonal offerings + Work with leadership to develop and manage internal and external reporting for wholesale business performance and provide data and insights to internal teams on wholesale performance + Oversee labor cost and approve schedule costs weekly + Work with VP of F&B on cash flow forecasts and budget process + Confirm Jo’s Brand standards are in place + Work to standardize processes and procedures, streamlining operations wherever possible + Oversee coffee brand transition + Work with team to ensure wholesale deliveries arrive on time with correct product + Work with new baristas on training and company culture · Performs other tasks or projects as assigned **Qualifications - External** **Qualifications** **Experience Required** · Preferred bachelor’s degree in business administration or hospitality management - equivalent combination of education, training and experience may substitute for education requirements · 5 years of food and beverage operations. + Understanding of food cost, beverage cost and labor cost + Team management experience + Financial acumen and experience managing P L + Excellent communication, relationship management and consensus building skills + Excellent time management and prioritization ability + Strong familiarity with coffee shop systems such as Aloha, Toast, Compeat and POS systems + Preferred Knowledge of commissary/wholesale practices + Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards · Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing.
