This role requires a strategic, entrepreneurial leader who can effectively partner with ownership, inspire a strong executive team, and elevate an already high\-performing operation through innovation, agility, and sound commercial judgment\. The General Manager serves as the primary steward of Hilton’s brand promise to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality while ensuring operational excellence, financial results, and Team Member development\. In this role, the General Manager is accountable for the following: **Leadership & Culture** + Lead, inspire, and develop a high\-performing executive team, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement\. + Serve as a leader of leaders, motivating and elevating talent while adding value to an established and capable leadership team\. + Build strong engagement across the hotel by modeling Hilton’s Values and Leadership Behaviors\. + Demonstrate cultural awareness and nuance in leading a diverse workforce and operating within the Caribbean context\. **Business, Commercial and Strategic Leadership** + Drive the overall commercial performance of the hotel, balancing revenue growth, cost discipline, and long\-term asset value\. + Apply strong business acumen to budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and investment decisions\. + Identify and execute opportunities for innovation and growth, bringing an entrepreneurial mindset aligned with Hilton brand standards\. + Lead strategic planning and ensure effective execution of hotel and regional priorities\. + Accountable for delivering financial targets, guest satisfaction scores, and team engagement metrics\. **Operational Excellence and Project Leadership** + Ensure consistent delivery of Hilton Brand Standards and exceptional guest experiences across all departments\. + Provide project management leadership for capital projects, renovations, and operational initiatives from planning through execution\. + Lead with agility in a complex environment, proactively addressing challenges and driving practical, solutions\-oriented outcomes\. **Food and Beverage Leadership** + Provide strong, hands\-on leadership across Food and Beverage operations, ensuring quality, profitability, and guest satisfaction\. + Champion innovation within Food and Beverage, including concept evolution, guest experience enhancement, and commercial performance\. + Leverage Food and Beverage as a key differentiator for the resort and a driver of both reputation and financial results\. **Stakeholder and Relationship Management** + Act as the primary liaison with ownership, Hilton corporate and regional teams, and key external partners\. + Demonstrate strong organizational and political savvy, navigating stakeholder expectations with credibility and influence\. + Represent the property within the local community and broader hospitality landscape\. + Champion Hilton’s Travel with Purpose initiatives, driving sustainability and positive impact within the local community\. **What are we looking for?** To successfully perform in this role, the candidate should demonstrate the following experience, skills, and attributes: + Proven experience as a General Manager within a full\-service hotel or resort, preferably with a global hospitality brand\. + Strong background in Food and Beverage leadership, with a track record of driving innovation and commercial results\. + Demonstrated success in commercial management, including revenue optimization, financial performance, and strategic decision\-making\. + Experience leading complex operations and projects, including capital expenditures and change initiatives\. + Recognized as a people\-focused, dynamic leader who builds trust, motivates teams, and develops future leaders\. + Entrepreneurial, innovative, and agile in problem\-solving, with the ability to think beyond traditional approaches\. + High degree of cultural intelligence; experience working in the Caribbean or similar markets is strongly preferred\. + Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field \(or equivalent experience\)\. **What will it be like to work for Hilton?** Hilton is a global hospitality leader committed to exceptional guest experiences, meaningful careers, and strong partnerships\.
