The General Manager, Radiometer Mexico is responsible for achieving the company’s short and long-term sales, operational, customer satisfaction, market shares and financial goals. This includes developing the business strategy, determining the most efficient organizational structure, attracting talent and the best personnel in the industry in Mexico, ensuring that all associates have the right support and training to perform their responsibilities, and establishing an open and entrepreneurial working environment.
This position reports to the Regional General Manager, LATAM and is part of the Americas Region and will be fully remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Provide vision, strategy, and guidance to meet Radiometer Mexico’s annual targets as presented in the Operating Plan: Revenue by product line, gross profit by product line, expenses, operating income, growth and market share gain.
+ Maintain good profitability in all key financial metrics as established at the Operating Plan; DSO, Return on Investment and Inventory turns (Working Capital).
+ Ensure that Radiometer Mexico delivers superior service and business solutions to all customers and distributors.
+ Develop, lead, and execute a comprehensive annual sales plan and a long-term 3 year business plan.
+ Build and lead a high-performing team by hiring, onboarding, coaching, and developing talent, while managing performance and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous growth through structured execution of P4G (Performance for Growth) and D4G (Development for Growth) processes, including regular 1:1s, feedback, and development planning.
+ Establish strong cross functional collaboration and communication, leveraging the Danaher Business System (DBS) to improve processes and develop teams.
+ Champion compliance and quality by driving implementation of a Radiometer Mexico Quality System to increase efficiencies and meet corporate requirements, as well as adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and business ethics.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor’s in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering or any Healthcare related field of education.
+ 10+ years’ experience as a sales manager or general manager within the diagnostics industry.
+ Experience in supporting multiple product lines and multi-channel avenues (direct and distributors) in transnational companies with a strong compliance culture background
+ Proven experience driving both strategic and tactical initiatives that result in profitable growth, enhanced customer experience, and increased market share.
+ Strong analytical skills and business acumen to assess market dynamics, competitive landscape, and internal capabilities, driving the development of effective sales strategies aligned with business goals.
+ Experience in negotiating complex projects with distributors, customers, vendors, legal counsel, and local authorities
+ Fluent in English and Spanish
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Travel up to 20% travel through Mexico and Latin America with visits to headquarters and other Radiometer subsidiaries.
+ It would be a plus if you also possess:
+ Master’s in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering or any Healthcare related field of education.
