What this job involves:
As a General Manager at JLL, you'll take full responsibility for the comprehensive management of commercial properties, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and exceptional tenant satisfaction in accordance with JLL standards and client expectations. This critical leadership role requires you to work directly with clients to understand their investment objectives and develop property-specific strategic plans while overseeing their implementation through effective team management. You'll coordinate maintenance projects, support leasing activities, manage budgets, and implement tenant retention programs while maintaining strong communication with building owners and tenants. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on property performance and value while leveraging your commercial real estate expertise in a dynamic, client-focused environment with one of the industry's leading global firms.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Conduct JLL Management Compliance Reviews and property inspections to maintain quality standards and identify maintenance, repair, and renovation needsEstablish and manage annual operating budgets, approve purchases, and oversee financial reporting including real estate tax protest processesImplement comprehensive tenant retention programs and meet regularly with tenant representatives to address issues and maintain satisfactionSupport lease discussions, negotiations, and administration processes to optimize property occupancy and revenueManage major construction projects, review specifications, and develop capital improvement plansEmploy or contract for on-site management and engineering personnel while observing competitive bidding for service contractsEstablish goals for team members, conduct performance evaluations, and develop training programs and career pathsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degreeMinimum seven years of commercial real estate or property management experienceThree to four years of experience managing teams of three or more peopleStrong financial and accounting acumen with ability to perform calculations related to rents, prorations, financial statements, and budgetsAdvanced problem-solving skills with ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsProficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with various budget applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact effectively with clients, tenants, and team membersPreferred Qualifications:
Real Estate License (required within first six months of employment)Experience managing Class A commercial propertiesStrategic thinking ability with implementation orientationStrong organizational skills with capability to multitask effectivelySelf-starter mentality with ability to work both independently and as part of a teamExperience developing constructive and value-add solutions to property management challengesClient-focused approach with exceptional customer service orientationLocation: Onsite

Estimated total compensation for this position:
110,000.00 – 170,500.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
