Ideal candidates have a genuine passion for property management and leadership. As General Manager, you will be responsible for directing and administering all aspects of the operation, including coordination and administration of the property’s policies and procedures. The General Manager will also work to develop and implement all golf-related activities and programs that support and deliver an exceptional guest experience. Previous supervisory experience is a requirement for the position.
Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities Hire, develop and manage all golf, agronomy, membership and marketing staff Deliver outstanding and consistent levels of service by cultivating the ACE culture through training and on the job coaching Develop, promote, and direct all golf activities Develop, administer and coordinate player development/instructional programs for all player segments Conduct staff meetings and communicate company information to employees Actively work to grow outing rounds/revenue at the facility through outside sales and retention Supervise daily, weekly, and monthly physical inventories of merchandise and the display of this merchandise Oversee the care and maintenance of the property’s physical assets and facilities Assist in the creation and coordination of the property’s marketing strategy in conjunction with the designated Troon Marketing and Sales Directors Monitor the daily operations and analyze the daily sales reports, weekly and monthly forecasts of the golf shop, and food and beverage outlets Responsible for attaining sales goals for all card programs, annual passes, facility events, etc. Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws regarding health, safety, and employment Ensure the highest standards for food, beverage, sports, recreation activities and other property services Analyze financial statements (income and expenses) relative to budgeted goals and take corrective measures as necessary Work with department heads (where applicable) to schedule, supervise and direct the work of all property employees Participate in outside activities that are judged appropriate to enhance the presence of the property in the local community Represent facility in the community to generate positive relationships with school districts and local business community through promotional activities and programs Perform other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements Must have 3-5 years related experience in golf operations/management A four-year college degree preferred, but not required Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Understanding of course administration and operation practices and procedures Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills Must be highly organized and efficient with a high attention to detail Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Must possess the ability to coordinate projects and delegate responsibility Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationshipsBenefits:
