We are seeking a highly experienced and guest-focused General Manager to oversee a luxury resort in northern Sardinia. The individual is a seasoned professional with a strong background in managing high-end establishments and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. The General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the hotel's operation, ensuring profitability, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a positive work environment. The General Manager will report directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of all departments, including front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance and SPA.
• Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of service and quality.
• Manage budgets, control expenses, and maximize revenue to achieve financial targets.
Guest Experience and Satisfaction:
• Create a culture of exceptional guest service, ensuring all team members are committed to exceeding expectations.
• Address guest complaints and concerns promptly and effectively, resolving issues to their satisfaction.
• Implement strategies to enhance guest loyalty and encourage repeat business.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide continuous feedback to team members.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols.
Financial Management:
• Develop and manage budget, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce costs.
• Proven experience as a General Manager or Senior Hotel Manager within luxury hospitality properties, ideally in leisure and resort contexts
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
• University degree preferred, ideally with a Master’s in Hospitality Management or equivalent specialization.
• Prior experience working in Sardinia will be considered a strong advantage.
• Good expertise in budgeting, P&L management and cost controlling
• Recognized leadership skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and manage multicultural teams.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, organizational skills, and a results-driven approach.
• Sensitivity to sustainability, authenticity, and local experiences
• Excellent digital skills (Excel and industry-standard PMS/ERP systems).
