General Manager, The Hotel Bar - The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio by Hilton

The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio by Hilton, is hiring a General Manager to lead operations at its newly reimagined Hotel Bar, a lively, music-filled venue connected to the lobby. This oceanfront resort features 1,000 rooms, two beachside pools, a kids’ splash pad, and 1,000 feet of beach. The General Manager will oversee a team of 20+ and reports to the Director of Restaurants.

Shift Pattern: Must have full-availability between 11am - 12am

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in food and beverage operations, with a strong background in beverage program management. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

What will I be doing?
 

As a General Manager, you would be responsible for directing and organizing the activities and services of a hotel food and beverage outlet (restaurant, lounge, room service, coffee shop, etc.) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Manage all outlet operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitationMonitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and rewardMonitor and assess product and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordinglyEnsure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standardsInitiate and implement marketing and up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenueEnsure team members have current knowledge of outlet offerings, products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and eventsRecruit, interview and train team members
