Responsibilities include campus-wide cleaning and maintenance, snow removal, landscaping, and occasional support for delivery, receiving, and mailroom operations. The role plays a key part in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, faculty, and visitors. **Salary Range:** $20.51 - $25.43 / hourly; $42,824 - $53,097 / annually **Minimum Qualifications** Knowledge of: + Different types of flooring/floors covering sufficient to determine proper methods of maintenance and appropriate cleaning methods, materials, agents and equipment. + Chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, bleaches, scouring agents and soaps sufficient to appropriately select the agent(s), handle and apply, and dispose of safely. + Methods, tools, and equipment used in maintenance sufficient to use effectively and operate safely and to make minor repairs. Ability to: + Follow oral and written instructions. + Perform assigned tasks with limited work direction. + Keep adequate records. Physical health and endurance sufficient to perform work functions: + Ability to perform work functions using ladders, scaffolding, etc. + Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs regularly and 30-50 lbs on occasion (with assistance as available). + Capable of frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling and repetitive activities such as standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, carrying, pushing and pulling. **Preferred Qualifications** + Ability to use hand tools + Good human relations’ skills, work habits, and self-motivation + Valid Driver’s License **Work Shift (Hours / Days of work)** 2:00 pm -10:30 pm/ Monday - Friday **Telework (Yes/No)** No **About** RCTC is a member of Minnesota State—a higher education system that includes 24 two-year community and technical colleges and seven state universities serving more than 430,000 students.
