Please visit www.cmimgmt.com to learn more about our company! **Job Description** The General Maintenance Laborer provides for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of equipment, systems, and buildings at CMI’s customer site in Artesia, NM. **Shift: Wednesday – Sunday 1pm – 10pm** **Key Job Functions** + Maintain Replaces light fixtures, motors, using joint compound to patch holes and cracks in walls and ceilings + Repairs or replaces sink faucets, water coolers, toilets, urinals, paints structures and equipment + Repairs or replaces stone pavers/steps, hangs doors and installs door locks, and replaces broken window cranks + Performs general maintenance on equipment and machinery as required + Changes lights, performs drain maintenance + Performs housekeeping of mechanical spaces and rooms + Moves furniture and equipment + Perform semiskilled and skilled duties in other maintenance trade areas; and do other work as assigned or required. **Qualifications** + Must have and maintain a valid NM driver’s license + Must be able to climb ladders, be capable of crouching, crawling, grasping and handling objects + Pick up and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. + Requires practical skill and knowledge in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, masonry, and electrical work. + Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner and all other duties assigned. **Additional Information** **COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS** + Teamwork + Results orientation/operational excellence + Holding self and other accountable + Operational business thinking All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
