**Description:** The Hyatt Centric Key West is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer, Overnight Shift to join our amazing team. The Hyatt Centric is centrally located within Old Town and a short stroll to the lively Duval Street. The Overnight Engineering Colleague is responsible for the oversight of the building maintenance and safety & security of the hotel guests and employees. This person will respond to general guest service requests, complete general guestroom and building repair, follow safety and security standards, complete incident reports as required, conduct building safety walk-throughs, and other tasks as requested by the Director of Engineering. Must have open timely communications with the Front Office and Engineering teams. Proper training will be provided to learn these responsibilities as well as becoming CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. This position reports to the Director of Engineering and works closely with the Overnight Front Office Supervisor. Shifts are 10:30pm-7:00am on a full-time basis. The two days off each week will be either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. There is a $0.50 differential pay for working between the hours of 11pm-7am.
