A Carpenter is responsible for maintaining the building and facilities to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while building required items and preparing preventative maintenance schedules.
What will I be doing?
As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for maintaining the building and facilities, build required items, and maintain carpentry tools to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Carpenter will also be required to complete preventative maintenance schedules and perform inspections. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Maintaining the building and facilities including doors, windows, furniture and other itemsComplete Guest room PM maintenance schedule and provide appropriate documentation Build required items including specialty furnitureOperate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment in accordance with health and safety standardsAssist with the delivery of other related services such as resolving guest issuesRepair Damaged Sheet rock in guest rooms and around hotelInstall fixtures, and make repairs to picture frames or necessary adjustmentsEnsure quality inspections are carried out in line with company standardsEnsure all tools used are well maintained and all work areas are kept clean and tidyPerform special projects and other responsibilities as assignedFollow all Health and Safety rules within the Department and the hotelWhat are we looking for?
