**Adecco Staffing is working with a company in Pomona, CA to bring on a Machinist! This is a full-time position.** **Location:** **Pomona, CA** **Pay Range:** **$22–$28 per hour (Based on experience)** **Shift:** **1st shift** **Job Summary:** **Must be able to read blueprints, drawings, charts & tables. Needs to be able to edit programs and write simple programs. Needs to work to dimensions and tolerances provided by blueprints. Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools. Monitor speed and feed of machines during the machining process. Able to edit programs and write simple programs. Must have both CNC and Manual experience. Prefer them to have both FANUC and HAAS controls for Lathes. The types of machines we have are HAAS CNC Lathes, FEMCO CNC Lathes, CHEVALIER CNC Lathes.** **Key Responsibilities:** + Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts + Work to dimensions and tolerances provided by blueprints + Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including computer numerically controlled (CNC) tools to perform precision + Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent required + One year of machine shop experience required + Completion of a technical trade school, or the equivalent of education and experience, or trade certification for general Machinist is preferred + Ability to complete a technical trade school apprentice program within four years is required + Ability to use measuring devices to verify that work meets blueprint specifications + Basic shop math skills including knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and their application is requiredIf you are interested, please apply to this positing and include an updated resume on your application! **Pay Details:** $22.00 to $28.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
