We're looking for a General Ledger Team Leader to step into a key role on our team, providing leadership and expertise as we continue to evolve and optimize our processes. What You'll Do:

Lead a Hybrid Team: Manage a team of GL professionals in a hybrid work environment, fostering collaboration and ensuring productivity with a blend of remote and on-site work (2-3 days per week in the office).

Drive Process Excellence: Identify and champion opportunities for automation and process improvement, leveraging technology to streamline workflows and achieve ambitious efficiency targets.

Global Collaboration: Partner with teams across different regions and cultures to ensure seamless GL operations. You'll work closely with colleagues around the world, building strong relationships and fostering a culture of shared success.

Client-Focused Delivery: Serve as a key point of contact for our stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate GL services that meet and exceed expectations.

Champion Best Practices: Oversee general ledger activities, manage month-end close processes, review balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.

Develop Your Team: Mentor and coach team members, fostering their professional growth and creating a positive and engaging work environment.

Data-Driven Insights: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop actionable plans to drive continuous improvement and achieve target levels.

What You'll Bring:

Fluency in English (written and spoken)

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including proven experience in leading and developing teams (minimum of 4-5 direct reports).

Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP preferred).

Experience with ERP systems (PeopleSoft or similar).

Leadership & People Management Skills

A passion for process improvement and automation.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.

Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced skills preferred).

Experience working in a multinational and cross-cultural environment.

A proactive, results-oriented mindset.

Bonus Points:

Experience in a shared service center environment.
