**Job Title: General Laborer** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer who is comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights. The role involves picking up 50 lbs bags off the conveyor line, moving up to 20,000 bags a day, and palletizing them on 2x2 or 4x4 pallets according to specific orders. The position requires continuous bending, twisting, and turning of the body, and using a two-wheeler to allocate pallets in the warehouse based on shipment orders. Simple math skills are necessary to ensure the correct amount is dispatched with each order. The role also includes cross-training in bag filling and sealing, as well as operating a sit-down forklift once acclimated. **Responsibilities** + Pick up and move 50 lbs bags off the conveyor line. + Palletize bags on 2x2 or 4x4 pallets as per order specifications. + Continuously bend, twist, and turn during operations. + Use a two-wheeler to allocate pallets in the warehouse. + Apply simple math for order accuracy. + Cross-train in bag filler and sealer roles. + Operate a sit-down forklift once trained. **Essential Skills** + Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights. + Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks. + Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication. + Self-motivation is essential. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6 months of manufacturing or farming experience required. + Former feed mill experience is advantageous. + Forklift training provided if no prior experience. **Why Work Here?** This position offers great opportunities for long-term career growth through advancement. The temperature varies with the season, being colder in winter and warmer in summer due to shipping bay doors. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
