Position Details

Job Type: Full-time, year-roundPay: $21.00 – $23.00/hour (based on experience)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM + occasional Saturdays

This Job Is For You If You Can:

Lift and carry 50–60 lbs repeatedly throughout the dayShovel, dig, and haul materials in all weather conditionsClimb up and down steep landfill slopes with heavy tools and sandbagsWork in extreme heat or cold without slowing downStay on your feet for 8–10 hours a dayHandle dirty, dusty, and odorous environments with a positive attitude

Key Responsibilities

Perform physically demanding labor tasks across the landfill and transfer stationOperate hand tools and light equipment (shovels, post hammers, picks, etc.)Direct traffic safely and assist customers on-siteSupport environmental systems for stormwater, landfill gas, and leachate controlMaintain site cleanliness and safety standards

What You’ll Need

1+ year of experience in outdoor, physically demanding workValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordStrong self-motivation and a commitment to safetyThis is a safety-sensitive position and requires the ability to pass a drug screen and background check.Willingness to assist at other sites if needed
