Aerotek is hiring motivated General Laborers to support operations in a busy steel fabrication facility located in Airway Heights, WA. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, learning new skills, and working in a team-oriented environment.
Available ShiftsDay Shift: 4:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday–Thursday)Swing Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM (Monday–Thursday)Key ResponsibilitiesLift and handle steel plates weighing up to 75 lbs.Read and follow blueprints to assist with layout and assembly tasks.Operate basic shop tools such as grinders, tape measures, and mag drills.Prepare materials for welders by cleaning surfaces and removing rust or mill scale.Track parts using internal software to maintain workflow efficiency.Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided).Organize and transport cut steel plates to machining areas.What We’re Looking ForExperience operating forklifts or overhead cranesAbility to lift and move heavy materials (up to 75 lbs).Previous experience in fabrication, grinding, or assembly is a plus, but not required.Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced industrial environment.Why Work With Us?Competitive pay ranging from $20 to $24 per hour, based on experience.Full benefits package including health coverage.Opportunities for career advancement and skill development.Supportive team culture and exposure to advanced fabrication equipment.Job Type & Location
