**Job Description**
In this general labor role, you will be responsible for all tasks leading to the finished product. You must be flexible, trainable, and adaptable, as every day presents new challenges and opportunities.
**Responsibilities**
+ Build steel wire rebar cages for concrete frames.
+ Mix concrete in preparation stations.
+ Pour concrete into wet or dry cast equipment.
+ Read blueprints to plan hole placements in concrete boxes.
+ Perform general cleaning tasks.
+ Participate in daily production meetings at 6AM.
+ Assist in taking down frames used for the previous night's concrete pours.
+ Cut and stage finished rebar into frames for the day's pours.
+ Prepare the facility for the end-of-day concrete pours.
+ Clean up the facility and prepare for the next day's activities.
**Essential Skills**
+ General labor experience.
+ Experience with heavy lifting.
+ Concrete, construction, roofing, and landscaping skills.
+ Proficiency in production and framing.
+ Ability to use hand and power tools.
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
+ Capability to stand for 10 hours a day.
+ Problem-solving skills.
+ Commitment to following strict safety procedures.
**Available Shift & Pay**
+ 6:00am - 2:30pm (Monday - Friday)
+ OT is typically after the shift, but occassionally has been before the shift.
+ **$19 - $20 based on experience**

**Work Environment**
Work in a large facility with minimal machinery, except for a significant machine in the dry cast area. The environment is not climate-controlled, with seasonal temperature variations. You'll work in both dry and wet cast buildings, requiring adaptability. The facility is dusty and akin to a construction site but operates as a manufacturing facility. Safety is paramount, with provided PPE including metatarsal boots, hard hats, and hearing and eye protection. The team is committed to working hard and enjoying a safe and engaging work environment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
