Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and conducting preventative maintenance on care/landscape equipment. The equipment is for rental and needs to be operational. The role involves visually inspecting and performing basic repairs as needed. Candidates with no prior experience will still be considered if they have the right attitude and willingness to learn. Given the customer-facing nature of the role, an aptitude for customer service is important. Candidates must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors as required.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain and clean care/landscape equipment for rental purposes.Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is operational.Visually inspect equipment and conduct basic repairs as needed.Provide customer service as clients come and go, ensuring a positive rental experience.Adapt to working both indoors and outdoors as necessary.Essential Skills6+ months of experience operating power tools/hand tools, even at a hobbyist level such as building bikes or cars.General labor skills including assembly and construction.Additional Skills & QualificationsA positive attitude and willingness to learn.Experience in a customer service role is advantageous.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Employees work in a rental area in front of the building where customers come to rent equipment. Duties may be performed in the shop or outside in the yard to maintain equipment and prepare it for customer pick-up. The work schedule includes two different shifts: 6:30am to 3pm or 8:30am to 5pm. The dress code is casual, with steel-toe boots required. The team currently consists of five full-time staff and two part-time employees.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Circle Pines, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
