Position summary:
General sanitation laborer is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary work environment throughout the facility. This role supports production by cleaning equipment, floors, work areas, and common spaces according to established sanitation procedures and safety standards.

Job responsibilities:Safety following company safety rules and procedures, wearing PPE reporting hazardssupport production teams with general labor tasks assignedCleaning & housekeeping Maintain clean work areas, sweeping, vacuuming, moping, pressure washing walls and surfaces, organizing tools.Follow daily, weekly and monthly sanitation schedulesQuality Following food safety rules (GMP,s) and procedures, communicating any issues.Inspect work areas after cleaning to ensure compliance and sanitation standardsEducation requirements:High school diploma or equivalent preferredRequired Experience:Prior experience in sanitation, janitorial is a plusAbility to understand follow safety and cleaning proceduresAble to work independently and part of a teamComfortable working in a dusty, industrial environmentDesired Experience:Previous experience in a manufacturing/plant environment with exposure to moving machineryWorked wearing PPE hard hat, gloves, googles, boots hearing protection.Worked and comfortable working a rotating shift scheduleADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
