Job Title: Trades Assistant/Firewatch Laborer

Job Description

Join our team as a trade's assistant/Firewatch laborer working on US Navy vessels at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. In this role, you will perform Firewatch duties, general labor tasks, and assist trades personnel. You must be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and working in confined spaces.

ResponsibilitiesPerform Firewatch duties to ensure safety during welding and other hot work activities.Knowledge of construction and shipyard operations.Assist trades personnel such as mechanics, welders, and pipefitters with various tasks.Clean up job sites to maintain a tidy and safe working environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, both outdoors and within ships. Be prepared to face diverse weather conditions, including rain, sun, and snow. The typical work week is around 60 hours, with potential for 12-hour shifts and up to 7 days a week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
