**Job Title: General Labor Production** **Job Description** This position involves assisting in the pallet making process from start to finish. Duties include building pallets, repairing them, and creating pallet components. The role involves using hammers, nail guns, and other basic hand tools provided. While performing these tasks, you will be exposed to vibration and occasionally work near moving mechanical parts in a relatively loud environment, but ear protection will be provided. **Responsibilities** + Assist in the complete pallet making process. + Use components to build and repair pallets. + Operate hand and power tools effectively. + Create pallet components as needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience with hand tools and power tools. + Ability to lift between 40-50 lbs. + Ability to be on feet for up to 10 hours. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to read a tape measure or ruler. + Previous experience in a noisy work environment. + Forklift experience is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy set shift times with a structured weekly schedule. The environment is mostly temperature-controlled, though it can occasionally get cold. The noise level is high due to running machines and nail guns, but ear protection is provided. Be mindful that the facility processes wood, which could affect those with dust allergies. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of APPLETON, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
