Gaylord is located in south central Minnesota about an hour west of the Twin Cities and 35 minutes from Mankato, Hutchinson, and New Ulm. As the County Seat, Gaylord is the "Hub of Sibley County." Our location produces liquid egg, hardcook egg, and precooked egg such as scrambled, patties and omelets. Responsibilities General Labor Production Shift Hours: 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM Position Summary: This position is responsible for the preparation and packaging of products in the precooked area, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and food standards. **Duties and Responsibilities:** Inspect product exiting ovens for correct size, shape, color, and weight to ensure it meets required specifications. Realign product before freezer entry to maintain flat, smooth, and uniform shapes. Sort and inspect frozen products for damage or non-conformance with company and customer standards. Perform sanitation duties as needed to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Add fillings to designated products. Fold omelets or squares as per specifications. Count patties and place the correct number in each case. Assemble boxes and insert liner bags. Follow all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety policies. Ensure sanitary conditions are maintained and report any issues that may impact food safety, food quality, or personnel safety. Maintain accountability for the Food Safety and Quality of MFI products. Perform other duties as assigned. #firstinpeople Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements Required: None **Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:** Basic reading skills: Ability to read simple words (two- to three-syllables) and recognize patterns in words and numbers. Basic writing and speaking: Ability to print and speak in simple sentences. Basic math skills: Add and subtract two-digit numbers. Multiply and divide using 10s and 100s. Use basic math operations with U.S. money, weights, volume, and distance. Basic problem-solving: Understand and follow oral instructions. Handle routine problems involving a single variable in standardized situations. The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $20.75 per hour.
