Aerotek is looking to hire several General Assemblers to work for for a manufacturing company that assembles electrical components in a Data Center in Altoona, IA. Description:

We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals to join our team at a data center in Altoona, IA. As a technician, you will work with blueprints and use hand and power tools to assemble and mount trays, server racks, and pull fiber optic cable. You will perform various tasks, including scanning inventory, unpacking materials, building server racks, installing servers and switches, and running cable. Training will be provided.Responsibilities- Assemble and mount trays and server racks using blueprints.- Pull fiber optic cable from point A to point B.- Scan inventory and unpack boxes of materials.- Break down shipping materials and build server racks.- Install servers and switches, and run cable.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Des Moines, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
