We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team in assembling containers. This position requires physical strength, teamwork, and a commitment to following detailed instructions to ensure the successful assembly of our products.

ResponsibilitiesUse hand tools such as hammers and screwdrivers to assemble containers.Lift and handle materials weighing over 50 lbs.Utilize a tape measure for accurate measurement tasks.Work collaboratively in teams of five to assemble containers.Follow instructions and directions to ensure proper assembly.Demonstrate mechanical aptitude in assembling and disassembling components.Employ hand and power tools efficiently.Essential SkillsAbility to use hand tools including drills, hammers, and screwdrivers.Experience in assembly or construction.Proficiency in reading and using a tape measure.Mechanical aptitude for assembly and disassembly tasks.Basic math skills for measurement tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Steel-toed boots are mandatory.Ability to lift 50 lbs continuously.Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a spacious warehouse setting, part of a team assembling numerous containers. While the environment can be cold in winter and hot in summer, the large facility offers ample space for efficient operations. Candidates must wear steel-toed boots and maintain excellent attendance, as reliability is crucial to success in this role.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harvey, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
