Job description: GL

Operate production saw starting with aluminum in mil length form and operating saw that cuts the parts to size. This also involves lifting mill lengths from job cart onto saw to prepare for sawing. Inspect parts using a go, no go gage Operate a tumbler machine that deburrs parts that have been cut to size, removing aluminum burrs from the parts Operating a press that punches parts as needed Operating a router to process parts Packing and unpacking parts for shipping – layer pack, plastic wrap and steel band wrap. Move raw material from storage to job area using either a job cart or pallet jack.
