Responsibilities for General Hospital Security Guard
Greet visitors, check ID, and give directions Control access at doors and gates (staff, visitors, contractors) Do regular patrols inside and outside Keep a visible presence to deter unwanted activity Respond to alarms and emergencies (fire, medical, security) Give first aid if trained and call/coordinate with emergency services Use de-escalation; remove/trespass unauthorized or loitering individuals Watch cameras/alarms and use the radio to communicate Write clear daily logs and incident reports Protect people, property, and assets by following site rules
Qualifications for General Hospital Security Guard
Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid Manitoba security license First aid certification an asset Exceptional customer service skills Proficient in basic phone & computer skills Two-way radio experience
