Elementary School Teacher (5th Grade Classroom) Start Date: ASAP Schedule: 37.5 hours/week Duration: 39 weeks Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Elementary School Teacher to provide high-quality instruction and stability to a 5th grade classroom of 23 students. This class has experienced multiple staffing changes in recent years, and we are looking for an educator who can bring consistency, strong classroom management, and a passion for student growth for the remainder of the school year. The School Teacher will implement daily instructional plans, maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment, and foster strong rapport with students. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with school administration and fellow educators while ensuring compliance with all state and district policies. Licensed teachers are highly preferred. Non-licensed educators will also be considered. Responsibilities + Implement the daily instructional plans provided by the classroom teacher or school administration. + Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning, personal development, and emotional safety. + Establish effective rapport with students while maintaining positive classroom management. + Communicate professionally with parents, administration, students, and staff. + Support student academic and social-emotional needs throughout the school day. + Follow all professional standards of practice and regulatory guidelines. + Ensure the safety and supervision of students at all times.
