We are currently hiring for a dependable Part-Time Evening Cleaner. This role is essential to maintaining a healthy and pristine learning environment for students, faculty, and staff. If you take pride in your work and understand the importance of a clean school, we encourage you to apply.

Position Summary:

As an Evening Cleaner, you will be responsible for performing detailed cleaning and custodial duties within a private school setting after school hours. You will work independently to ensure that classrooms, common areas, and offices meet The Budd Group's highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform cleaning duties in classrooms, hallways, offices, and restrooms. This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.

Clean and sanitize all restroom facilities, restocking supplies as needed.

Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as desks, doorknobs, handrails, and water fountains.

Empty trash and recycling receptacles from all assigned areas.

Ensure common areas, such as cafeterias or libraries, are clean and prepared for the next day.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures, using cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.

Secure designated areas of the building at the end of your shift.

Qualifications:

Previous cleaning experience in a school, daycare, or similar environment is highly preferred.

Must be exceptionally dependable, with a proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.

Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite in Burlington, NC.

Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check required for working in a school environment.

The Offer:

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Consistent Schedule: Monday - Friday

Work Hours: 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM (20 hours per week)

Location: A stable, professional private school environment.
