General Assistant-Kitchen
dnata Catering UK are actively seeking General Assistants to join our already successful and vibrant team at Heathrow. As a General Assistant you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our catering and goods arrive with our airline customers on time in line with various scheduling requirements.
The Role
As a General Assistant (Kitchen Assistant) you will be working in one of the following areas within our business:
Production:
Preparing and plating foodHandling of packed food goodsPacking amenity kits and flight condimentsEquipment:
Stacking shelvesRotation of stockRe-ordering of dry stockwash:
General cleaningWaste removalWashing airline equipment to industry standardsSearch and Seal:
Inspecting goods ensuring there is no prohibited itemsChecking stock for any damagesCompletion of paperworkPlease note your duties will include but are not limited to the aboveRequirements
To undertake this role, you must:Be able to handle pork and alcohol productsBe prepared to stand for long periods of time and have good mobilityBe prepared to work in a chilled environmentHave a basic understanding of EnglishAbout Us
