A General Accountant, will fully support the Accounts function within the Finance department through the development and processing of accurate reports and account management.

\nWhat will I be doing?

\n\n

As General Accountant, you will fully support the Accounts function within the Finance department through the development and processing of accurate reports and account management. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:

\n\n\n\tEnsure the accuracy of all department processes to the various accounts\n\tMeet all payment deadlines\n\tSupport the management of all account inquiries and disputes\n\tBalance accounts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis\n\tSupport in the development of the Finance team and other roles that may interact with financial processes to help provide the hotel with a multi-skilled team\n\tBuild accurate financial reports and identify discrepancies clearly\n\tAct in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when required\n\tExecute on tasks/requests as instructed by the Finance Manager \n

\n\n\n\tPrevious experience in a high volume Accounts function\n\tComputer literate, with good MS Excel skills\n\tGood time management and organisation skills\n\tHigh-level of attention to detail and accuracy\n\tAbility to develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers\n\n\n

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

\n\n\n\tPrevious Accounts experience, preferably within a hotel environment\n\tRelevant degree, in Accounting or related business discipline, from an academic institution\n\n\n
