What You'll Do

We’re looking for an experienced and visionary GenAI Lab Lead to drive the Central Europe (CE) GenAI agenda and shape the future of AI adoption across BCG’s CE system. In this role, you will act as an AI expert and innovator as well as a transformation leader, guiding how our system leverages AI for business impact and enabling sustainable capability building across teams.

As the anchor point for the CE GenAI Lab, you will provide strategic direction, thought leadership, and coordination across CE functions—partnering with Practice Areas and case teams—and the global AI Enablement Network to deliver measurable outcomes and build AI fluency within the organization. 

You will: 

Develop and advance the CE AI agenda to move from habitual to impactful AI usage across our over 2,000 consultants Drive innovation and support product and use case development, such as in business development or client case execution Serve as a knowledge hub and single anchor point for our CE Teaming Team  Support case and account teams through activation sessions, hands-on enablement, and new tool introductions Partner closely with our network of CE Black Belts and Practice Area AI Leads, lead monthly engagement sessions to share insights and build community Feed and curate content for BCG’s AI knowledge platforms such as EverythingAI.bcg.com to ensure CE contributions are visible and impactful Support the development of our BD approach, including dedicated AI-driven use cases and navigation support Drive SATT activities with global AI teams and the Enablement Network to align CE initiatives with firmwide AI programs Lead a team of 2 project team members and team up with further working students, guiding their contributions and integrating their work into the CE GenAI agenda 

What You'll Bring

University degree in data science, computer science, business management, or a related discipline 8 or more years of work experience including AI or technology strategy, digital transformation, or related leadership roles Proven track record in shaping and scaling AI/tech initiatives and capabilities across complex organizations Considerable experience in leading transformation programs from concept to implementation Deep understanding of GenAI tools, AI product development, and knowledge management practices Ability to translate emerging AI technologies into actionable business and organizational strategies Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, with strength in designing strategic frameworks and solutions Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, and to represent the GenAI Lab internally and externally Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and nontechnical audiences Fluency in English; German is a plus

Who You'll Work With

In your strategic role, you will work closely with the CE Leadership Team, CE GenAI Node, and Function Head of “Teaming and Work Innovation” to shape the regional AI strategy and ensure alignment across teams. You’ll collaborate with the Global AI and Enablement teams to foster cross-system knowledge sharing, and partner with PAs and PA AI Leads to embed an AI-first mindset into products and client work. You’ll work alongside CE Black Belts and around 15 members of the CE Teaming Team to drive capability building and enablement initiatives, while working with HR, Talent, and Learning teams to identify upskilling needs and integrate AI learning into CE development programs. The position is primarily based in Munich, but can also be assigned to other locations.
