Gen AI Product Manager

As the Gen AI Product Manager, you will foster cross-functional collaboration across various functions and Strategic Business Groups (SBGs) to ensure alignment and integration of AI initiatives with overall business objectives. You will also establish partnerships with external vendors to leverage their expertise and resources, enhancing the effectiveness of our AI projects.
You will provide support and guidance to early-career professionals, coaching and mentoring junior team members to help them navigate AI technology-related projects and develop their skills in this rapidly evolving field.
You will provide leadership and drive innovation in our AI initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of technology within the organization. You will report to our Sr Director, IT and work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid work schedule. Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Define and execute the strategic vision for generative AI technologies within Honeywell.
+ Lead research and development initiatives to explore and implement new AI methodologies.
+ Manage budget and asset allocation for AI projects, ensuring financial compliance and optimization.
+ Foster cross-functional collaboration across various functions and SBGs to align AI initiatives with business objectives.
+ Establish and maintain partnerships with external vendors to enhance project capabilities and resources.
+ Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members, supporting their professional growth and development.
+ Drive innovation in AI initiatives, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of technology advancements.
+ Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data management and program management
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Proven experience in product management and project management, particularly in AI or technology sectors.
+ Strong understanding of generative AI technologies and their applications in business.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
+ Ability to build and maintain partnerships with external vendors and stakeholders.
+ Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing early-career professionals.
+ Working knowledge in the following technologies: Microsoft Azure Cloud, Open AI models, Google Gemini, MCP, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Smartsheet, and Agentic AI.
**WE VALUE**
+ Bachelor’s degree in data science, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
+ Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing Gen AI programs
+ Knowledge of Gen AI governance and architecture
+ Strong project management skills and the ability to deliver results on time and within budget
+ PMP certification is a plus.
