Currently seeking a Gem Setter for a full-time temporary to permanent position in North Attleboro, MA.

Responsibilities of a Gem Setter:
-Operate wet grinding wheel to remove hard fired enamel
-Safely operate various polishing equipment including wheels, bench polishing machine, sandblasters, and bead blasters
-Remove excess plastic epoxy using dry sanding belt or abrasive wheel
-Prepare stones and gems by cutting, shaping and polishing to specifications
-Perform quality inspections using magnifying glass
-Set stone and gem into projects
-perform final polishings
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment
-Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirement for Gem Setter
-Minimum High School Diploma or GED
-Familiar with compounds such as Picasso blue, Tripoli MOCO brown, and blizzard white buffing compound
-Previous experience polishing precious metals
-Previous manufacturing experience
-Strong communication skills
-Great dexterity and hand eye coordination
-Ability to multi task

Hours: 7:00am-3:45pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00/hr
