Seeking highly experienced Cloud Architect with 15+ years in IT and deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with:

GCP Landing Zone setup and VPC design, including subnets, routing, firewall rules, VPN/Interconnect

Compute Engine deployment patterns and Linux system hardening in alignment with CIS benchmarks

IAM policy design based on the principle of least privilege, and experience with KMS for encryption

Use of Secret Manager for secure credential management

Design and implementation of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, with a strong understanding of RTO/RPO

Migration or replacement of legacy messaging solutions (e.g., MQ/WebMethods) with modern Pub/Sub architectures and API-based integrations using Apigee

Familiarity with PCI compliance and alignment with TechSec or security best practices
