What You'll Do

This position serves as an experienced coordinator for key events in BCG Greater China, including but not limited to the event planning and execution for both internal and external communications, onsite support etc. This position is also expected to be teamwork with office managers, especially for office activities organization.

 

This position requires good communication and interpersonal skills when working with internal clients, team members and the suppliers. In additional, good problem-solving, organization skills, attention to details are also important to this role.

 

Primary duties and responsibilities includes, but not limited to:

 

Meeting & event and activities planning and execution in Greater China Region for both internal and external­Get involved in event and meeting planning, be capable of a practical proposal for discussion and decision­Smooth teamwork and communication with stakeholders involved in the event and meeting organization­An essential responsibility for this role includes the design and production of event-related materials and communications. This encompasses creating visually appealing and informative resources, such as newsletters, presentations, placemats, key visuals (KVs), videos, and other promotional materials. By ensuring the quality and effectiveness of these materials, the role enhances the overall impact of events and ensures consistent messaging that resonates with stakeholdersSupport stakeholders for post-event matters including survey and analysis­Ability of instant knowledge of location, venues and transportation relevant to organizing a meeting or event­Coordinate with the hotels/agencies/suppliers for meeting/events preparation includes contract negotiation and logistics­Provide onsite support and coordinate the resources for efficiency and effectiveness

 

Other ad hoc assignments­Cross functional team assignment for meeting and event support when capacity is allowedOther assignments outside GC are necessary due to the business requirementsData collection and analysis to improve or develop the event service in GC

 

Summary of requirements

 

Over 5 years of hotel and MICE experience in professional services or multi-national companies.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Able to perform well in a fast-paced, deadline driven and service oriented environment.Flexible interpersonal skills and able to work effectively with all levels of staff.Convey a strong positive personal and professional image with excellent standards of professional behavior and ethics.Team player highly motivated, energetic, resourceful and friendly.Service-oriented, flexible and able to work under pressure.Bachelor degree, preferably in tourism study
