Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Philippines office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.

The Role

Serve as a Ledger Owner maintaining accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance to policies and regulatory requirements, (SEC requirements, accounting, audit/SOX/Non-SOX) providing valuable insights to support strategic business decisions through financial analyses, leveraging financial systems and processes that increase clarity, improve efficiency, shorten decision cycle times, and reinforce financial integrity and accountability

What You’ll Do

Perform operationally the month-end/quarter-end/year end close, reporting/trend analysis and account reconciliation; assure accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Prepare and analyze Trial Balance/other reports highlighting trends and variances for management reviewIdentify, interpret, and analyze potential accounting risks/issues and execute preventive measure to avoid from recurringAnalyze and conduct thorough review of general ledger accounts to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial dataIdentify and execute internal controls, SOX/Non-SOX compliance and financial proceduresCollaborate closely with cross functional team to ensure accurate and timely reporting, account reconciliation and other project deliverablesAssist with internal and external financial reporting - including analyzing consolidated results, be of assistance in Audited Financial Statements account schedules and other supports, statutory adjustment postings and year end roll over activities for local accounts entities under our scopeEvaluate the current process/practices, Identify, and drive various projects/initiatives for operational efficiency and continuous improvementServe as subject matter expert for the team, mentor and coach as neededAccommodate adhoc tasks as needed by the business

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, keen to details; With proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Experience working in cross functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in accounting and financeMinimum of 5years experienced in Accounting and FinanceMicrosoft Office and ERP System (SAP/Oracle)

CPA is preferred. With global Accounting and Finance experience in Global Share Services/BPO set-up.
