Gastroenterology Hepatologist – Burlington, MA

Join the Division of Gastroenterology atLahey Hospital and Medical Center (LHMC) as a Hepatologist. The GI division is comprised of 23 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers all committed to providing compassionate, high quality, patient focused care. Providers see approximately 20,000 outpatients per year for a wide variety of GI and liver related problems including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, biliary tract disorders and diseases of the pancreas, colon cancer, and disorders of the esophagus. Physicians also perform approximately 20,000 endoscopyprocedures annually. At Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, we have one of the leading Liver Transplant Programs in the country.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients with liver disease, including pre-liver transplant care.

This role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and participation in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

BC/BE, Gastroenterologyfellowship trained

Transplant Hepatology fellowship trainingis desired, but not required

Strong academic credentials

Excellent clinical skills
