**Job Description Summary** **Job Description** **What you’ll do** + Working knowledge in the disassembly, inspection, and assembly of gas turbine rotor is required. + Carries out independently tensioning/ tightening of the rotor parts by using hydraulic tools. like torque wrench, Tensioners H-pump with up to 25,000 PSI or more. + Ability to use the measurement tools such as micrometers, depth, and dial gauge. + Ability to use mechanical hand tooling and having knowledge of their functionality. + Ability to perform balancing of Gas turbine compressor & Turbine rotor. + Contribute to continuously improve the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Cost for the cell/component. + Great organizational and time management abilities. + Comply with all safety standards and procedures. + Align with the company Quality Policy and applicable rules and procedures. + Ability to read and interpret work Instruction and process prints. + Working knowledge in use and function of Horizontal and vertical balancing machine. + Ability to blend and grind. **What you’ll bring** + High school diploma or Technical College + A minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a mechanical technician in a related industry. **what will make you stand out** + Crane Operator Certificate. + NDT level I Certificate. + Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office software is preferred. **Additional Information** **Relocation Assistance Provided:** No GE Vernova is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
