I. Job Summary
Operates gas plant(s). Coordinates special projects as needed. This will include responsibilities to assist in the well field and power plant. This position will have exposure to hazardous chemicals.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides day-to-day plant operation and management.
Responsible for compliance with company policies and procedures at the plant(s) as well as ensuring safe working conditions and environmental compliance.
Collects and analyzes data regarding plant performance. Compiles all reporting requirements.
Monitors key and critical operating variables and other process data to ensure equipment is operating within design parameters.
Assist in well-field operations to maintain compliance in well field.
Responsible for all housekeeping and landscaping duties to maintain WMRE standards of building and grounds appearance. This includes all janitorial duties to be completed by plant manager.
Coordinates maintenance initiatives and inspects new construction.
Reviews and evaluates work to ensure quality, timeliness and ensures quality control in adherence to policies and procedures.
Organizes and schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish activities.
Responsible for all administrative duties regarding proper reporting of plant output and performance in a timely manner consistent with WMRE reporting guidelines.
Conduct plant tours as necessary to support good community relations.
Must be able to operate in an autonomous environment, guide actions to company objectives and possess a high freedom to take action when necessary..
Remains on-call for emergencies 24 hours per day 365 days per year, or arrange suitable backup.
III. Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
1 year of prior works experience.
Must have valid Driver’s License
B. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in environmental fieldwork, construction, electrical, mechanical, or other hands-on work environments
Working knowledge of gas collection systems, pumps, blowers, or flare systems
Technical or trade school training in environmental science, mechanical systems, instrumentation, or a related field
Experience working with Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) or High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) piping and components
Experience using data logging systems
Fundamental knowledge of computer data entry and interpretation
Ability to work independently in field environments with minimal supervision
