You'll be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing residential and commercial garage door systems. This isn't just a "helper" role. Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-4:30PM

**Pay is dependent on experience**

Responsibilities:

Installation: Efficiently install new residential and commercial doors, ensuring they are balanced and run efficiently.Service & Repair: Replace high-tension springs, frayed cables, bent rollers, and damaged sections.System Integration: Set up and sync openers, remotes, and Wi-Fi-enabled smart systems.Inventory & Maintenance: Keep your truck organized, stocked, and maintained like it???s your own.Documentation: Clear communication of work performed and parts used via our mobile dispatch app.

Skills:

Trade Experience: 3+ years in garage door installation and repairsElectrical Knowledge: Comfortable wiring motors and troubleshooting low-voltage sensors/wall stations.Welding/Fabrication: Experience with commercial applications or custom bracketry is a big plus.Customer Facing: Ability to explain a technical repair to a homeowner in a way that makes sense.

Qualifications:

Mechanical Proficiency: You have a solid grasp of how things work. Whether it???s engines, hydraulics, or framing, you understand tension, alignment, and basic physics.Problem Solving: You don't just swap parts; you troubleshoot. You can diagnose a bad circuit board or a mismatched track with a logical approach.Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 75+ lbs, work on ladders all day, and handle the physical demands of the Mankato climate.Valid Driver's License: A clean driving record is a must to operate our company service rigs.
