Future Payloads Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer
**Job Description** BAE Systems is looking for a qualified Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer to join our team in support of a Future Payloads Development Program as required by the warfighter, Air Force Global Strike Command. We re seeking a mechanical or aerospace engineer to assist with review of test concepts, policies, and standards of missile systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to support future development and the advancement of technologies. Additional responsibilities include providing weapon system expertise in conducting integrated test engineering-level assessments of analysis, production, verification, validation, operation, maintenance, and problem resolution processes as part of the program development cycle and to identify and mitigate design, production, and test deficiencies that could impact successful development. \#ASFS **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + B.S. degree in engineering, or related field. + At least 4 years of progressive technical experience or 2 years with a Masters Degree. + Materials Science and or hypersonics. + Must possess and maintain a US Top Secret DoD Security Clearance. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Experience with ICBM Weapon Systems. + Familiarity with materials and TPS. + Familiarity with program management principles, including cost, schedule, and performance assessment. + Familiarity with analyzing requirements. + Experience with DoD acquisition programs. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $136000 - $231200 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
