Job Description
AECOM’s Energy business is helping to deliver a secure, sustainable, and resilient energy future. We partner with clients across the full energy lifecycle—supporting critical infrastructure, enabling the energy transition, and advancing net zero ambitions across the UK and globally.
Our Energy team is structured around three core capability areas:
Nuclear
Providing engineering, safety, advisory, and project delivery expertise across new nuclear, decommissioning, waste management, and defence-related programmes.
Transmission & Distribution
Designing and delivering resilient, future-ready electricity networks that support decarbonisation, system flexibility, and the integration of low-carbon generation.
Renewables
Enabling the development and delivery of renewable and low-carbon energy solutions, including wind, solar, storage, hydrogen, and emerging technologies.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re interested in connecting with experienced professionals who are passionate about the energy sector and are open to exploring future opportunities within AECOM’s Energy business.
This includes individuals with experience in areas such as:
Engineering and technical leadership (electrical, civil, mechanical, systems, or related disciplines)
Energy infrastructure planning, design, and assurance
Sustainability, decarbonisation, and net zero delivery
Digital engineering, modelling, and data-led solutions
Project management, commercial, and advisory services within the energy sector

Qualifications
Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification, aligned to energy, engineering, or infrastructure disciplines.
Professional accreditation or registration relevant to your discipline, or the ability to obtain this where required.
