Future Capability and Digital Roadmap Lead

AWE is currently recruiting for a Future Capability and Digital Roadmap Lead responsible for driving the digital transformation of the HR function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, digital tools, and change management.

As the Future Capability and Digital Roadmap Lead, your role will be to shape and innovate the future of people applications and their role in driving process, experience and insight efficiency.

You will be involved in digital strategy development, technology implementation, process improvement, change management, data analytics, employee experience, training and development, vendor management and compliance, as detailed below:

Develop and lead a comprehensive digital HR strategy, including technology selection, implementation, and vendor management.

Streamline and automate HR processes using digital tools, driving adoption through effective change management.

Leverage HR analytics to enhance decision-making, increase self-service, and reduce service centre traffic.

Enhance employee experience through digital platforms and ensure training for managers and staff in collaboration with the learning team.

Ensure compliance of all digital HR initiatives with relevant laws and regulations.

Who are we looking for?

You should have experience designing and continuously refining a forward-looking digital HR strategy and capable of leveraging data analytics to support strategic decision-making.  Previously lead the selection and management of HR technology solutions and regularly assess emerging technologies and trends.

We do need you to have the following:

CIPD or equivalent HR Qualification, or relevant experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a digital or technology-focused role.

Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we’d like you to have experience in some of the following:

Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.

Proficiency in HR technology solutions (e.g., HRIS, ATS, LMS).

Excellent project management and organisational skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with change management and process improvement.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

You’ll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload. You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.

This will be funded by AWE.
